Heart and limbs and blood all work together: your mind ticks away. Skin shakes. Suddenly very aware of every thing and the electricity which vibrates under your hide, which jumps from tendons and bones and curves through You. It is magic. There are others like You. And here, You roam the land Unbridled!
Next season will be WINTER.
Each season lasts one month in real life.
The seasons change on the first of every month.
Breeding/foaling is allowed in all seasons, except winter.

This is where you post all your dark character biographies. There are two different forms so make sure you fill out the one that sides with your characters gender. The password can be found within the rules.
Come here to create all your light character biographies. Again you must find the password which is located within the rules. Please make sure you meet the requirements of each form and wait for approval before roleplaying.
This is the section that you place all your ghost horse bios. If you created a ghost bio within the light or dark section, please put 'GHOST' in the title so I can move it here =) Make sure to copy your old title so once it's moved you can replace it. Ghosts are separated by gender, not alliance. They are sort of 'neutrals' but lean towards the darker side.
Equine's of any alliance wander here to explore the many different lands held beneath the banner of Erratic Way. This land is free to any alliance, and stretches for many leagues, its extremes ranging from snow capped mountains, city ruins, or an arena whose boundaries are bordered by a harsh savanna. It's maze like beach poses a puzzle for anyone who wants to pass it and venture off into the rest of the land. The horizon is cut off by the long and dark range of Misty Mountains, an impenetrable veil of thick eerie mist hovering around the edges, calling you forth to venture through the never-ending, and horribly dangerous, path of the dead...
The Dip of Despair is where your character's meet the graveyard, or take what is not theirs, or perhaps have found a new desire for the opposite alliance? All of these boards will be located here.
This is where stallions take mares to breed, where mares come to foal and where foals get abandoned because their mother doesn't want them. Please post within the correct sub - board.
The godforsaken lands of Medusa are perilous at best. For the territories in this earthen stretch are harsh and unforgiving; a virulent torrent runs through the heart of the wilderness, a thriving river that carves brutally through the terrain. Full of marshes and menacing forests that ensnare the pure of heart, this territory allows the wicked to thrive in the darkened depths of the shadows. An Ice wall surrounds the perimeter of the lands, where at the only entrance, there is an ice archway, with serpents twining around the arch, while inscriptions of water runes are engraved on the surface. The tower of the dark princess, correction, queen, loom over the lands of water with a sinister appeal. The serrated shadows cut across the lands like a berating knife, and from its peak you can hear the delight of Medusa as she cries out in joy when she catches a glimpse of herself in the reflective walls. Constructed completely of ice, this single tower harbors a dark will, reflecting the wicked intentions of Medusa, the fiendish seductress of ice and crystalline powers that exude from her towers of frozen beauty. Across the water lands, a single voice rings out loud and clear. "Let the bodies hit the floor!"
What is the meaning of life? Of death? Both linger side by side, death a reminder to the living, a shadow to the light. None can exist without the other, and the earth is a thriving, evolving, ever changing symbol of this factor. Amongst the play of light and shadow lives the spirit of the forest. A primordial creature neither light nor dark. She alone will give and take life, so that the circle will continue. Ancient forest, tall and creaky as the wind rustles through the deep greens of their canopy, blanket the lands and whisper to each other as night descends. A soft musical cadence that sweeps through the dense shrubbery of the earth lands, and everything you see around you seems to be blanketed by a thick layer of moss. It is a silent forest at times, but if you listen closely, you just might hear the music of the forest spirit. It is not unwise to fear all Gods and Goddesses; The light makes no exception. When darkness falls on the lands of earth, a creature awakes to walk amongst the towering forest, swaying its mighty arms as they brush against the treetops. What is this nightwalker, made of stars and shadow? It once was the deer goddess, but now it is something much more mysterious..
The headquarters, so to speak, of this kingdom is quite possibly one of the deadliest places to be in Unbridled. The volcano is surrounded on all sides by an ugly wasteland, littered with scorched trees and crunchy little blackened things that are bones of any naive animal that made it's home too close to Ember Citadel. The blackened castle that is the namesake of this land sits high and mighty, protected from the heat by magic more powerful than time. A vast canyon starts at the foot of the volcano and continues for miles, cutting a deep gash in the dark lands, though it is beautiful in its vast array of hues and deadly in its fragility of footing. On one side of the above spoken canyon, a desert begins, sand dunes hundreds of feet high and water scarce as can be. Gradually, the sand thickens and turns to a black gravel like rock - shale. Which eventually brings us to a large array of sheer cliffs that over look a vast sea. At the foot of the highest cliff is a cave which leads you into a insanity-inducing labyrinth. But don't fear, the odor of brine gets stronger as you venture closer to the body of water, so its not so bad. A small string of islands provides a near paradise, without water. This land requires a powerful water bender present at all times to ward the sea salt away from the island's shores. So, think you can handle these lands? Just meet those that reside there and you will think differently. Cold in the eye, and fiery in the temper, only the hardiest of the horses can survive here.
As the world is plunged into chaos and disorder, and the innocent are slaughtered, there are but a few steadfast realms that remain in which those of the ethereal nature may seek refuge, a sanctum of heavenly light that shines upon the grounds of Unbridled, banishing the shadows to their dismal crevices. One is an earthbound heaven that stretches across the dominion of the Air Kingdom. Many seek refuge and life in the lands that, though safe, are strange in their variations. Guarded by Altrivaire, the lands are wrapped in a gentle blanket of peace and prosperity, with a touch of mystery, as light is steadfast as the breeze that trickles through the lands like a torrent of vibrant breathe. Though darkness may prevail in the far corners of the world, tearing it limb from wretched limb, this land remains sacred and whole. Neither dark, shadow, nor bitter frost can hinder the soft tranquility of the realm encased within; awaiting the opportunity to lighten the burden’s of the world from your soul and purge the darkness from your mind.
The parched, desolate earth stretches miles and miles, un-extraordinarily so. The dusty, solidified ground seems to whisper beneath your feet, a soft mumble of a sound that steadily grows into a deep metallic hum. Before you stands a giant wall constructed of solid steel and iron, a deep and dark grey that glints menacingly in the dusty light. It is an impenetrable fortress, guarded by fierce and armor-plated warriors who walk upon the darkened palisade and patrol the borders. There are rumors that bodies lie within that metal wall, victims of the vicious guards who take no value in the sanctity of life. If you are lucky enough to reach past the barricade unscathed, the lands take on a new shape. Canyons that spread large and wide ravage the mind, filled with deep caverns that are laden with undiscovered metal. Hooves clink on something hard; most of the stone and soil has been replaced with pure metal. There are hills and mountains constructed entirely of various shades of metal, along with twisted sculptures and trees that dot the lands, creations of bored benders. A river of liquid metal carves its way menacingly through the lands, heated by the fiery magma that runs beneath it.
In the light lands back on earth there is a gateway, a portal if you will, that you must first pass through before entering the regions of outer space. Once you find yourself here, you are hurtled into another existence all together. The main planet, twice the size of earth, supports life but is vastly different than the earth you know. Surrounding it in orbit are varies moons and smaller planets. Everything is different, including the plants, animals, and even the air you breathe. Somehow it feels lighter, and gravity is not as strong. The waterfalls flow up instead of down, and every plant you pass you encounter the danger of it eating you. But once you overcome your fear, the space lands are a magnificent place. A dreamworld of sorts, with new colors and beaches where the rocks and pebbles are a vibrant, humming, even singing, spectrum of blues and greens that hover in midair. There are forests whose trees are shaped oddly, and the ground is purple in tone. Ever large boulder you see seems to have inscriptions that glow. Its a place that once you enter, you become vaguely less aware of your home back on earth.
The rolling plains of green and glorious life come to an abrupt end, where all life ceases to exist. The once luscious vegetation is now but crumpled weeds and dried, exposed roots rotting in the sun. The air is heavy with the stench of death and decay. Rotting corpses are piled and scattered about, as if they were forgotten playthings. Lifeless; the lands are completely, and utterly devoid of life. Even the trees are like skeletons reaching for the heavens. However, deep beneath the seemly surface of the earth lay a labyrinthine lair, housing the souls of the undead and their godly leaders who so raised them to walk again. Most have returned as ghosts and ghouls of the malicious sort, darkened hearts loyal and steadfast to their leader; they, oh wicked phantasms, haunt the mortal realms of Unbridled. The Crypt and its ensuing territory are a neutral ground, though be wary of where you tread, dear mortal – the ghosts are waiting to drag you to the underworld and rip out your soul.
