Heart and limbs and blood all work together: your mind ticks away. Skin shakes. Suddenly very aware of every thing and the electricity which vibrates under your hide, which jumps from tendons and bones and curves through You. It is magic. There are others like You. And here, You roam the land Unbridled!
Next season will be SPRING.
Each season lasts one month in real life.
The seasons change on the first of every month.
Foaling is allowed in all seasons, except winter.
Heart and limbs and blood all work together: your mind ticks away. Skin shakes. Suddenly very aware of every thing and the electricity which vibrates under your hide, which jumps from tendons and bones and curves through You. It is magic. There are others like You. And here, You roam the land Unbridled!
Bodies float lifelessly. Their heralding unknown. They appear translucent ghost figures swarming beneath the waters surface. They twist and turn throughout the wave currents, their minds vacant and oblivious to their surrounding creatures. They are merely ghosts, waiting to be risen from the dead to haunt Unbridled. Their very presence chills you to the bone, while the river of death reflects in the eyes of its creator; Zafina. However the castle remains untouched, the surface reflecting Medusa's exquisite beauty and Zafina's ruthless evil behaviour. The atmostphere has been tainted with suspension, the kind that makes you cringe with fear. The pathway toward the ice castle has been altered, to varying sizes of ice stepping stones. You must test your navigational skills, reaction time and strength to overcome the labyrinth of ice that floats menacingly ahead before you even think of stepping hoof upon the ice platform homage to Zafina. Tread with caution; the ghostly water is poisoned to mortals, it's toxic demeanor only known to those who become consumed by the water. So may all signs of nobility vanish, for here you roam through the lands of a merciless goddess, with one motive in mind: All must perish.
What could be more sinister than that of a mysterious marsh, lurking with carnivorous monsters? Welcome to the marsh, where unknown monsters lurk in its undefined depths. Day never seems to occur here through the dank, heavy mists that clog the air and fill your lungs. Should you accidentally slip into the waters, ghost white faces of the bodies long since past into the netherworld greet you with hands that seem to grasp around your throat in a greedy fashion, threatening to pull you under and claim your soul to live amongst the bodies of the dead; never to rise again as the blackened water fills your lungs and blinds your vision. It seems that your next step could be your last...
Be wary where you tread for the land is scattered in geysers which spout hundreds of meters into the air water so frigid that often it will freeze once the cool air touches it, and fall to the ground in torrents of jagged ice, piercing flesh at whim. Past the expanse of mutilating geysers is a water benders paradise. A basin above land holds waters so deep that none can perceive where the bottom may be, if there even is one. Holding up the basin are banks of snow and ornate ice patterns that curls around the circumference.
Lead Stallion: Liechter Behaarter Geist Lead Mare:
A rather small stretch of land spans before you, built by wicked hands to hinder the path of those wishing to walk it, with the soft rumble of what seems to be thunder in the distance. A forest, burdened with dense red-wood trees standing hundreds of feet tall, casting a dark canopy down below. To the north, a slender stretch of stone mottled mead spreads itself, trailing dismally upwards to a vicious outcropping of mountains. Why would such a small, useless land ever be desired to be owned? For to the South lay a metropolis of beauty – the lake. It takes just one deep dive to the fathoms below and you come upon a magnificent sight - a castle, tall walls covered with growing algae and green sea-life. Only the most advanced of water-benders or those with a aquatic animal shift can enter these depths.
To the eastern edges of the dark land stand two mountains made of pure ice. Many tree's line the sides of these mountains, dispersing before the peak. Traveling around the ice mountains you are shocked to find that their is a vast opening in the closest one. From the entrance you see nothing but darkness and hear the wind whistling through its hollow passage ways in a ghostly voice. Slowly, you find yourself entering this cave which takes up a great deal of the mountain, and realize you have stumbled into a nightmare. Inside the walls of smooth ice monsters from prehistoric times slumber, frozen for centuries in a state of near extinction, the archaic beasts hold expressions on their gnarled faces so livid and vibrant you feel their presence, and the air ripples with tension as their gleaming ivories threaten to shatter their ice prisons. You recognize some of these beings as dinosaurs that once roamed the lands, they tower over your stature by leagues and their forms can be seen down the passage way as you carry on, noticing some of the creatures frozen in twisted positions, half with their eyes open and staring blankly at you as you pass. Those who live here must be brave enough to endure the company of ancient creatures, monsters from the deep, form your very nightmares.
The darkness is prevalent as mist swirls and drifts in tendrils across the grounds. A decaying structure, either a castle or age old cathedral stands in the distance, bricks crumbling and covered with gnarled roots. Behind the castle looms a forest, dark and menacing as the wolves cry rises into the air, the sky stained a grisly red, as if the heavens bled; it seems they do, for it rains quite often and soaks the ground leaving it muddy and marsh-like. To the right of the forests edge there stands a jagged cliff, the sea crashing against its rocky base, and with its uneven rocks it is easy to fall...or heave someone over the edge. Inside the palisade are a few cavernous rooms, with lit candles flickering inside casting dark shadows and playing tricks on the eyes. In the foyer, the carpet is still springy and retains its beautifully intricate pattern, and the room seems warmed by the fire roaring in the hearth. The roof, though caved-in in a few select areas, remains relatively leak-free and would provide a decent shelter; however, you will find it quite difficult to gain entrance. Only Masquerade and his mares can let you in...
Those infidel humans and their contraptions have left behind a skeleton of a great voyage. Long ago a captain and his men set sail, to discover a new world. They came dangerously close to Unbridled. But what they didn't know was that something sinister lurked beneath the ocean floor and beyond; A creature whose temper were the storms that plagued their voyage. Zafina would now allow these human mortals cross the barriers of her ocean, and so she stole their lives and sunk their mighty ship in a storm that raged for decades. Below the surface the ship sunk to the bottom, where the water is as black as night and colder than even the ice lands. Its bare skeleton is stark against the dark depths, an eerie silence devouring its decrepit remains. With the help of Medusa, the ghosts where led to this wreckage and now call it the center of their invasion.
