Heart and limbs and blood all work together: your mind ticks away. Skin shakes. Suddenly very aware of every thing and the electricity which vibrates under your hide, which jumps from tendons and bones and curves through You. It is magic. There are others like You. And here, You roam the land Unbridled!
Next season will be SPRING.

"Do you believe in love at first sight?" Apollo and Cheraz did.
Long ago the dark king was doomed to a life of solitude by the ancients. He committed a devastating crime, the slaying of a very important ancient heiress Athena. An awful curse was set upon him, to punish Apollo for his crime, but death just wasn't on the charts as he played a very important role in keeping balance in Unbridled. Being wise, the ancients knew of his inability to love, so why not make love the breaker of the curse?
Although, the dark tradition still stands, Apollo was immune to that heart warming feeling. He was stubborn and arrogant, spending most of his life alone, cold and banished from the beautiful island named Unbridled, just like the ancients commanded him to. Until a lone mare, who seemed to glow with beauty and grace, began to walk upon his land. Knowledge, and navigational skills brought her to Apollo. He was awed at her eye catching features, that seemed to burn his eyes. Blindly, he fell in love. It was as if Cheraz knew he would. But she was a light.
This didn't stop them. The curse was lifted causing Apollo and Cheraz to join their herds together as one. They had access to Unbridled, a beautiful island with mysterious capabilities. They were very powerful horses, but rarely used these unnatural powers. For a while the king and queen lived in peace, however the herd members weren't happy. They refused to join as one but kept their thoughts and feelings away from the elated King and Queen.
Their happiness didn't end there. Two foals were on their way, one a colt, one a filly. One was dark, one was light. But like their parents, they found a way around their differences and maintained a strong bond between the four of them. For a while, everything was perfect. Until the rest of the horses couldn't take living with each other anymore.
All the horses turned on the four royals. Anger rising in their chests, death beaming from their eyes. The chase began. The King and Queen knew how important their foals were. They sacrificed their life for them to that raging herd of furious horses. The two foals made it to the waters edge. The older horses were still following, but as soon as the foals stepped into the ocean and exited Unbridled they looked back to see all life had disappeared. They looked back to see a distant island covered in a thick fog. Nothing had survived the life had left with the two confused foals.
For years, the foals grew into beautiful horses. They had strange markings and long manes. Their features were god like, something that no normal horse could, or ever would ever posses. Their relationship was still very strong and together they returned to Unbridled, decades later. Although, they didn't seem to have aged.
At the beginning the land was dark, it was marked off the charts and named as a mysterious island withholding strange powers. But as soon as the two horses stepped foot onto the island, everything changed. Life began to return to every corner of the land. Together, they used their magic to recreate the island into what it used to be before that horrible event. Then, they separated, but they still remained in touch, just left often.
The light stallion surrounded himself with lush grass and beautiful waterfalls, while the dark mare isolated herself with deadly storms and days that never seemed to be touched by the sun. They lived in peace, the communication lines still open between them. often they travelled to each other and discussed all the recent events, just like old times. They never touched on the past, and they were happy at leaving it in the past. The question is, will their dark and light relationship last, while their herds grow and there are more eyes to watch them sneak off to meet each other?

Not all fairy tails end in a happily ever after.
Family ties held the peace between the alliances of Unbridled. That is until the bond between Altari and Zafina was tested when a mare infiltrated the heart of the earth god, and deceived the truth behind the death of his beloved son, Hercules. A meeting was called between the gods, for trouble had sparked vicious rumors in the mind of the king, who had turned to accuse his own blood, the ice queen herself.
And so it came to light during the first moments of the meeting between the gods, that it was not only Altari who had borne himself an heir, but Zafina as well. Medusa, a princess dark enough to walk in Zafina's footsteps. The meeting of the gods brought not only Medusa and Altari face to face, but the true killers of Altari's one and only son. As Altari stood, ready to accuse his sister of committing the ultimate treason against their pact, the truth was revealed.
Wildcard, the mare who had perceived the bonds between light and dark, and wished to tear them apart by act of murder of a God's one and only heir, of her one and only son. But trickery stalks the shadows of the gods, and the assassins were revealed. Aztec, a lowlife, and his brother Impulse, immortal being with a shield to protect him from all the minds infiltration, had taken the life of a god to-be. But this was not the only shock to pierce the heart of the meeting, for Medusa had found her father. None other than the immortal assassin himself.
The arrival of Karasi and Jericho brought to an end the meeting between the gods. Karasi, with her soft voice and angel features, brought with her a message from the fires of Hades. Viranchi had come to Unbridled. The gods would form another pact, to ban together against the fury of Viranchi. Jericho and Karasi found haven amongst the skies, Zafina returned to her castle of ice with Medusa at her side, and Altari banished the wretched assassins and his once beloved Wildcard.
Later the gods discovered the ability to yield extra powers. The reason for this, was unknown. They could only suppose that it was praise for resolving the Assassin issue in a responsible way. However, the constant up rising of many immortals brought forward that there could perhaps be more lurking within the depths, still unknown to the world. The rumors of battle were finally laid to rest, the truth proving to be a powerful weapon. So the four elements were separated. Fire, Earth, Air and Water. For now, they remained in solitude, awaiting the plans Viranchi has, while somewhere underground, what was thought to be dead... Has come alive.
-------------
Those once dead come back for their revenge.
A shadow had descended upon the isle of Unbridled. Much was lost during the dark ages of Unbridled, a time of treachery and murder. Whispers from the underworld reached the surface, that Drogora and Halifax had raised their army of dead to reign as their leaders, hording their undead soldiers beneath the earths surface, forever encased in a labyrinth.
Altari, the king of Unbridled, swore an oath to himself that he would protect the peace of Unbridled, most of all from Viranchi, a demon wrapped in sheaths of fire with no mercy. And so when the vicious God of fire abandoned his lands in a rage so uncontrollable it was a death sentence to anyone who chanced upon him, Altari set off after the monster. Rumors that another deity of fire would soon find their way into Unbridled did not sit well with the Fire God, and his journey began to find a territory where he could reign supreme, with Altari on his heels.
With the king gone, the one who had the power to hold back the terrors of Zafina, a chain of corruption smothered the lands of Unbridled. Shayton, the god of water who had introduced himself during the meeting of the gods, was killed on the blackest of nights by Zafina and Medusa. Soon enough the only god left in the lands was Jericho, whose fortress with Karasi amidst the clouds was holding strong against the onslaught of fear and darkness.
Zafina held all the power in her hands with her brother gone, and the ability to gamble away the lives of those around her had the rest of Unbridled gripped in fear. She carried out the sentencing of those who defied her, including Medusa's immortal father, Impulse. Her dreams of holding the whole word in her clutches was not as far off as it seemed...
That is, until the dead stirred.
From a land that for so long had bent to the will of the Ancients, bowing to their ultimate power and divinity, rose a new and inconceivable being - a soul who is neither living nor dead. She was killed long ago by the Ancients themselves, and yet, from the sacrifices of her soul, of her body - she regained animation. Forced underground by the very gods that created her, she became the living dead, the essence of life and of death wrapped in a body made of rotting flesh and decaying bone. She lay dormant for hundreds of years, waiting till her destined King, Halifax, would chance upon the realm of her underworld so she could once again walk the Earth, raising the dead to drag their limp bodies behind the trailing, eyeless, and tattered body that is their Queen, their Goddess - Drogora.
It was a match made in Heaven. Or, Hell, if you prefer.
Halifax, a mysterious wraith whose ties to Unbridled lay shrouded in smoke and mist, harbored a secret. Long ago, when the earth had only just recently split between haven and underworld, and before the dividing of the elements, had stumbled across two immortals lost in their own imagination. Their minds were ancient, yet they knew nothing of gods and goddesses. They were dangerous and powerful, a fact that drew Halifax to them like flies to a carcass. Halifax- the dead god who held little powers of his own, would finally be able to wield strength beneath his decaying grasp. So he approached the two immortals, one whose eyes burned with a yellow fire and smelled of earth, the other a fiend so fiery it hung on her hide like armor. With his deathly staunch he commanded them as his own by undermining their little knowledge, seeking in return an oath to do his bidding whenever he so commands it. In return they gain entrance into Unbridled, the land that had been calling out to them for centuries. Blinded by his greed for their power, he noticed not that some deeply unnerving power was hidden behind yellow eyes.
As memories stretched out further than the mortal eye could see, so did the defiant nature of Calyx and Elidhu. His deathly bellow would call for them, and they would not come for years. Angered and hurt, the death god would finally try and keep them with him in the underworld forever, the next time they returned.
But Elidhu and Calyx did not so willingly agree.
-------------- "A plague! A plague for your defiant nature, watch it burn the souls of those you fight for!"
From the underworld emerged two burning, beautiful, immortals. One, the very essence of earth and life, restored Altari's lands and created an oasis where life and death were but one and the same, where light could not exist without shadow. The other was cunning and lethal, fire burning in her heart and leaping from her skin. She took hold of Viranchi's looming volcano, and reined as if she has always been there.
But not before Halifax could have his revenge.
A plague, so vile and lethal, stretched its claws over Unbridled and dug deep. Not even the immortals were safe from his wraith. Symptoms so ghastly beheld the herds of Unbridled, not discriminating between dark or light. It would tear many lives down, down to their very core, before any relief could be found. Meanwhile, Zafina's hunger grows. Having taken out those who stood in her way, she grows colder, deeper in her insanity to hold the whole world below her. Those who had forgotten to fear her, learn the hard way.
